Master Programmes

  • MSc in Tunnelling and Underground Space.

This is a specialist Master’s course designed to prepare students with a background in Civil Engineering or Geology for a career as a Tunneling Engineer. In what is rapidly becoming the UK's center of excellence for tunneling, the university will provide you the knowledge, understanding and advanced skills to design and build the underground infrastructure of the future. Approximately 20% of the teaching is taught by invited industry lecturers, ensuring that the content continues to be relevant. This degree is endorsed and supported by the British Tunneling Society and the International Tunneling Association.

  • MSc Behavioural and Economic Science.

This innovative course in the growing area of Behavioural Science and Behavioural Economics combines multidisciplinary expertise from the Departments of Economics, Psychology and Warwick Business School.  Warwick is one of the strongest places in the world to study behavioural science, and one of the few to offer a truly interdisciplinary research and teaching team. This course can be taken as either an Economics Track (focussing on a higher level of economic study) or a Science Track (focussing on a higher level of psychological study), depending on the applicants background.

  • MSc in Business Analytics.

This programme aims to equip graduates with technical skills in analysing big data sets, as well as strong business acumen.  Working closely with major business analytics service providers, including IBM and SAS, student will receive a teaching and learning experience that reflects the latest developments in practice and research. This course is ideal for people interested in building quantitative consulting skills and looking for careers in analytics and consulting related roles.

  • MA in International Development.

Debate and discussion are at the heart of the teaching style this programme. How are inequality, political instability and economic development linked? Do market shocks reshape political as well as economic framework? Is economic growth a good measure of human development? Why does gender justice matter for development? Why does poverty persist in a world of plenty?  This MA seeks to introduce you to these debates and questions through empirical and theoretical work.

Undergraduate courses 

  • BSc Maths, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics (MORSE).

A mathematics degree for those interested in pursuing a course which combines theory with modern applications in operational research, statistics, finance and economics. It is a flagship programme by the University of Warwick that has run since 1975. MORSE aims to equip graduates with mathematical skills to deal with the practical problems of the modern world.

  • BASc Global Sustainable Development.

The world’s population is predicted to from six to nine billion between the years of 2000 to 2050, with the next few decades predicted to witness significant transformations and economic growth, international relations, human development, biodiversity, human health and social justice. Employers and policy makers increasingly need graduates who can consider these national and global challenges from different perspectives. GSD is a range of courses where 50% of the course considers these ‘big world problems’ and 50% on an area of relevant academic study, including Economics, Politics, History and Psychology.
