Location

Aberdeen is a prosperous, cosmopolitan city with an international population. Sometimes known as the Granite city, its fine architecture includes Marischal College on Broad Street, the world’s second largest granite building after El Escorial Palace in Madrid. In London, the terraces of the Houses of Parliament are built of Aberdeen granite.

Aberdeen features an enviable selection of eating establishments, pubs and clubs. A number of venues host drama, ballet, opera and other live events; and there are galleries and museums scattered throughout the city.
